I just got back from watching it and if I'm honest, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. If you want a dynamite script, great character development and a gripping plot, then you're probably better off watching something else.
But as far as entertainment is concerned, it was rather enjoyable. I've always been a fan of the franchise, which might make me a bit biased towards it, but if you like science fiction I recommend going to see it.
The characters were OK, the acting was sufficient, the action was good and despite everyone knowing what the Predators are/look like, there was still a fair amount of suspense in the film to keep be stuck to my seat.
Anyone seen it, or going to see it?

But seriously, I saw Alien vs. Predator 2, and that was one of the tiest movies I ever laid my eyes on. I can't really believe this might be watchable.

Yeah, that was pretty to be fair. It's a shame really, because that part of the franchise had great potential, but they totally blew it with the first one, never mind the second one.
You might not like Predators, but there's only one way to find out.

Eh... I really don't like these kind of references in modern sequels. Terminator: Salvation was chocked full of fist pump audience-recognition moments like that.
I've seen some of the promo material for Predators and I'm deeply unconvinced. I'm certainly not going to pay and see it at the cinema.
