Friend on my facebook who is over in Oakland right now says "Downtown Oakland is insane right now. Closed streets. Riot cops everywhere. People are literally fleeing home."

getting off at the lake merritt station in oakland, i have never seen so many people rushing to get onto the BART. guess folks are trying to get the out of dodge before the hits the fan. too bad i left my shot gun back at my moms house :(

Was walking around downtown yesterday and many of the businesses are boarded up. What a ridiculous situation.

white bart cop shot a black guy on New Years morning.

On NYE/New Years Day last year year, a bunch of rowdy kicks were being kicked off BART or something. Cops had some of them laying on their stomachs, face down.
This one white cop pulled out his gun while standing over one of them. A young black man. He then pulled out his gun and pointed it down straight at the person's back...and a few seconds he fires. Guy later dies.
He says he thought it was his taser.
Cop should rot. How can he not know it was ataser.
