The fact that the bylaw officer already knows you from previous parties and you got multiple warnings leads me to believe you're going to get screwed.
I think the fact you were playing music until 5:30am and then finished at 7:30am is pretty inconsiderate to anyone that lives around you. The people that go outside to smoke throughout the process, are they absolutely silent when they're outside smoking? If not, I bet they make noise too.
I would be pretty pissed off if I was your neighbor. |

| We've had noise issues at 1234 due to our tech-house DJ we've now outside on our terrace, fines are 1600$, we had 2 of these and won in court with our kickass lawyer, but still, cost you an easy 900$ everytime of lawyers so police always winz.... Just got another Grand-Prix weekend can you imagine, giving a ticket grand prix weekend downtown with all the cars and shows going around... they're in a ticket frenzy watch out ! |

If i lived near you, I'd brake one of your windows smoothly
Probably as expensive as a ticket, and after 2 or 3 times, i'm sure you'd understand the point without even showing up to court
I'm a dj myself and I admit that I call the cops on people all the time for noise issues
After midnight, there's no way I'm letting anyone up my beauty sleep
Go to afterhours instead and make all the noise you want :thepirate |

| Just pay and forget about this. DON'T HIRE A LAWYER. Just for the first meeting between him and you and the opening of the file it will cost you around 500$...then he will have to work on the case at around 200$/hour and if it goes in court it will cost you a lot because you will have to pay from the time he leaves his office till he comes back so even for a short trial it's easy 4 or 5 hours more. You do the math:) |

the funniest thing about lawyers is that even if you pay them a grand for a cause, you still have to buy them lunch at the courthouse.
the only good lawyer is a dead lawyer...ask johnny cochran. |
