using tombs and kicks as the main bass?

can this be acceptable..if you dont use a traditional bass line in a track?

say the tombs or kick have enough bass...?

Sure, if the kick has decent tonal quality, why not

yep this can work tho remember a bassline adds grove and movement to a track so depending on what stuff you plan on making keep in mind you may need someting to keep together

You might want to consider using toms instead of tombs. Tombs might make the track a little too dark for the dance floor.

dead people go 6 ft under but that does not mean they supply good low end.

If it's a mausoleum it might provide some good hollow bass.

Indeed many tracks have this. I especially like tracks with basslines made up in this way. Browse the tech house section on Beatport, that should give you some ideas.
