haha. Ancic is huge too, like 6'6 or something? Must be family. Goran is an absolute legend too. He's like a huge hero here too cos of his wimbledon stories. |

The entire show was filmed in Seattle. Back when I was eight, my dad ran a whole chain of buffets along the west coast. They were doing an episode on fruit, and had rented out one of my dad's buffets in the city to shoot at, and my brother and I got to skip school to watch them film it. Got his autograph and a picture with him. He invited us to a later shooting at the actual studio they shot everything at, too.
We showed up to this standard office with a reception desk down in the warehouse district in this building that looked totally inconspicuous. They told us to go through a door when the red light turned off, and when we walked in, holy ; the entire Bill Nye laboratory you see in a load of episodes right in front of us. We just stood behind the cameras for three hours and watched them film, then he gave us a tour.
Man, I wish I remembered more of that. |

Yea Goran is such a character. I'm not sure we'll ever have a better tournament win in Wimbledon than that. |

I met Scott Brooks (Oklahoma Thunder head coach, 2010 NBA Coach of the Year) at Niketown in Chicago when he played for the Dallas Mavericks. I patted him on the back and he gave me kind of a look.
I also rented a cargo van to Dennis Farina (Cousin Avi from Snatch).
I saw LaPhonso Ellis at Dick's Sporting Goods.
And I'm 98% sure I saw Kyle Korver at King of Prussia mall in Philadelphia.
Oh yeah! I saw Jerry Jones dancing in the middle of a circle of twenty-somethings at the Lizard Lounge in Dallas. lol
I saw Dikembe Mutombo walking down the street in NYC once. It was Sunday morning and he appeared to be with his family, on the way to church.
And my CEO once said 'Good morning' to me as we passed each other in the hallway. Yeah, that's right. |
