There is a wide variety of house music that is "funky", and that thread is a dumping ground for it all.

i dont even know what the hell 'funky' means in the context of 90% of the stuff in that thread

what do you mean by 'classic disco house'? like house that heavily samples classic disco?

samples: poussez - never gonna say goodbye

or do you mean like proto-house disco?

he'd probably be interested in a lot of it, and this thread, if continued by anything but, exclusively, nefardec posts, will be almost identical to that one.

nicky siano uses ableton live :p

one of the pioneers of 'dj' mixing and slipcueing

also i much prefer 'in blue blackness' by alan smithee to 'tell me all about it' in that mix.

when i went to the memorial day body and soul party joe claussell was banging it out as i entered the venue. i just walked into the party and all of old garage regulars were in there REALLY dancing, and we just walked right in and started getting down.
