The turn out was pretty good...its just that the Terrace is so damn hot!!! Lol...they need to invest in mist fans or something...but I have faith that they will get their act together....the only downside yesterday was being without no music for like almost an hour cuz there was no dj...that was crazy!! It felt like a cocktail hour before the event...lol

was pretty fire. k&a did waaaaaaaay better than i thought. yea they threw in some fluff but i actually expected most of their set to be fluffy and i was surprised at how hard some of those drops were. sound seemed better at eden this time as compared to andy moor. they had a couple extra fans too that werent there last time so that was nice but they still need more. little by little its getting better and im sure itll only get better as the shows go by. eden was pretty slammed at the beginning of the night, way more than andy moor, but then it cleared out a bit. then it filled up again, then it cleared out, then it filled up. it was kinda weird seeing that but im glad k&a had a full room to play to most of the night. when we left at like 5:30 there was a line of people just getting there going up to the terrace. awesome seeing that support. the little rolling kiddies were really into it the whole night. funny seeing them all go nuts when k&a dropped the emery edit of lethal industry. :stongue:
overall another in awesome night for only $10. good seeing everyone out. will post videos later.

Yes I was right in the middle infront of them screaming and singing along to every song pretty much :) I love the fact that Kyau gets so into it. He cut himself with one of the ceiling lights! But didn't care.
During the middle of the set there was some annoying girl and guy next to me and the guy kept calling Kyau Albert and Albert Kyau. Wtf?! Not to mention he was bothering the hell out of Albert by trying to shake his hand every 5 mins. I even told the dude that Albert was beginning to look really annoyed and he continued anyways until he finally left.
What nice guys they are! They interacted with me and the people close by singing along and making lots of eye contact and what not. I must have written them like 5 messages on my phone for them to read and not once did they look bothered by it. I did notice the club getting packed, then emptying out a bit and getting packed again like Pat explained. I hope they come back! I can't believe they closed their set with my request (Made of Sun). I have chills just listening to it right now :D The last message I wrote to them said thank you and to come back when it's cooler :p like for WMC! Albert just smiled and nodded.
Other songs I remember, a new Gareth emery track, the tiesto song threw me off but whatever I was just such in a good mood I didn't care, they played always a fool, and those drops for every song were ing insane! I also remember hide and seek and this song by Jes. Man, I've paid $50 to see Paul van Dyk before and this blew all the times I've seen PvD out of the water! And I love PvD. But for $12 bucks? We got one hell of a show. I took a few pics with my phone, I'll post them now.

He did a warm up set for an hour before k&a went on :) I wasn't there for the half hour of silence because since I'm a noob and it was my first time in Nocturnal I ended up going to the wrong room at first :stongue: I did see gin play but not snay. Then I asked Gin where the everyone was and he said the terrace....*facepalm* Well at least we found it an hour before they got on lol.
*edit* ok they also played falling anywhere (rework)!

Have to give them credit, another nice event from the Noc guys. Turnout was good also, so it seems they have some momentum. Now they need to start hyping Durand, cause I have not even seen a flyer or write up on the wanttickets page.
One issue I must raise with last night, I do not know what the opening DJ right before K&A thought he was doing. Maybe he was confused & thought that he was headlining the main stage at Trance Energy. But IMO as an opening DJ there was no need at all for him to bang it out that hard.
Anyways, K&A were great. They played harder and more upbeat than I ever would've expected from them. They obviously got the message about how we like our trance in Miami, and knew how to deliver for their fans. They also mixed in the right amount of their own tracks and the Euphonic sound to make for a well balanced super fun set IMO. Was also nice to see & meet a few TAs out last night. And it was fun messing with Pat by walking up to him b4 he knew who I was and telling him he was not allowed to take any vids. :stongue: The look on his face was priceless, although I could not keep a straight face & started laughing ...

Kyau & Albert rocked the terrace last night. IMO the second half of their set was unbelievable. The energy was on full throttle till they closed their set. :crazy: :eyes: :crazy:
I do have to say though, that the crowd has to have been one of the worst crowds that I've ever been in. So many people that couldn't handle their liq and it was only 1:30am! A good portion of the time it wasn't crowded on the dance floor yet people continued to run into me and the people i was with. I was sitting down most of the time cause I couldn't take it. That obviously has nothing to do with the team at nocturnal, they did an amazing job with that booking and with the party last night. ;)
I think the downfall of the club is the small bathroom. Only 2 stalls, one of which didn't have any toilet paper and the other was full of vomit because some guy couldn't handle his liq (and the party hadn't even started yet) Clubs like space and gryphon have huge restrooms. I know that isn't the nocturnal teams fault that it's only two stalls but knowing that they should have someone in there that actually does something besides stand and put soap in your hands. I ended up going to the downstairs restroom(i was walking through the crowd and couldn't see people's faces cause they were all doing the stanky leg lol, if you don't know what that is, youtube and you'll know what I mean.)I don't think that restroom had anything to do with eden but it was even worse. one stall had a door missing and the other had vomit all over the toilet. to top if off the guy has a bottle of dish washing soap and gives me a wet rag to dry my hands.:whip: POINT IS, keep the upstairs bathroom clean with toilet paper and paper towels so that we don't have to go downstairs to that mess of a bathroom.
with all that said, I can't wait for richard durand! :D

wow youtube is being a whore for me today. every video im uploading fails at 99 or even 100%. wtf?! so far only got one up. 6GBs with only a 50k/sec upload takes awhile, so just be patient please. the videos are coming. :)

gotta respectfully disagree here. the little kids really didnt bother me at all. but i was towards the back so maybe i was just outta the danger zone. the small bathrooms also dont bother me too much because theres never a line. now if it was like how it is at vagabond, then we'd be ed. small bathroom and a 30 minute wait. fuuuuuuck.
i did think it was pretty ed up though, that for the chicks, you had to tip the bathroom attendants in order to get toilet paper. i mean seriously? thats just horrible. toilet paper should be one of those things thats covered when i buy my ticket.
and i didnt see anyone really ed outta their mind drunk. everyone that was ed up was beaning mad hard.

I did see people really ed up towards the front sometimes. Some people eating each others faces, some older guy running around without a shirt. For someone who loves partying that hard, even I was annoyed but it was just those instances. Geez people if you're going to pop some rolls or drink....control your -_-
Where you suppose to tip the lady? My friend went to the bathroom and she didn't tip..LOL oops? That's ridiculous anyways.
