last time i saw him, about a year ago, he was telling me his priorities have changed, partying all the time and being a good father for his daughter for him doesn't mix. He feels the need to be more around her. He started djing such at a young age, it's like he's been djing and partying since ever and now wants to live something else.
Now moved in Indonesia, i guess he will continue on playing sometimes over there... he is a HUGE star in that part of the world.
He wants us to make this a farewell party...
for my part, I think like you, never say never... but seems he thinks differently and must be a page turning in his life...

i think that it is cool that he wants to move from party life to family life.
it happens to all of us breeders eventually.
good luck to him, he made so many fridays awesome in this city, and was always a nice cat to be around...even when you had to deal with marco g :p |

| I watched him go from resident DJ at Aria to worldwide legend! He will always be my biggest inspiration when it comes to electronic music. He is making a pretty cool choice and I respect him even more now for it. I remember being upset that he was meddling with a bit of trance but I realize now, he made all the right choices to get where he is now. |

if he gives me a copy of no war in summer i'll actually stay up past my bedtime and go to this.
i actually think that the last time i was at circus was for preach a few years back with some friends from dallas. |

ps fun phil fact.
the last time i went to Beb...(i dunno 2006? the year fanciulli opened) we were there with a whole bunch of TA's and after he closed the party he gave like 10 of us copies of Broken Inside on vinyl. We didn't ask for him or anything...he came up to us and gave it to us...i think this says alot about the man.;)
I might not like the direction he went, but yeah....most djs are so full of themselves that they think they are so special because they can count 32 beats and cue. Not this guy. |
