To keep the total you have to upload/download to a minimum, without the bull of clipping and artifacts of an MP3, compress it to FLAC. It is lossless, so it is bit perfect to what the wav is, but it uses file compression (not to be confused with audio compression) to keep file sizes a bit smaller than wav files.

And by "a bit" I mean anywhere from 40%-75% of the original size.

Flac does work. Just don't use that piece of iTunes.

OMG, I love Dropbox.

A computer program corrupted a file I had there (a whole wiki with the plots and ideas of a book I'm writing). It had taken me ages to write all that... then I remembered Dropbox can restore old files.

I'm a happy panda.

yeah...i just don't bother looking for programs anymore because every time i do i get frustrated.

i think i am going to switch back to a tandy or an amiga.

and yes dropbox is awesome.

Try Songbird. It is made by the old Nullsoft (Winamp) guys.
