Ableton 8 question regarding keeping a utility window open at all times

I tried to RTFM but no luck. Maybe I missed it? Hate to ask questions about my DAW.
Simple and obvious question as to why I want it. I need a 24/7 spectrum so I can see what my frequencies on my master is doing 24/7 (and possibly other tracks so I can see how 4 different tracks effect one, etc)
Is this possible? Do I need to get some 3rd party stuff here? I really need this for efficiency purposes.
Thanks a ton, as always.

Well, as Zombie0729 stated, its not possible to break away the default spectrum analyzer, so you need a third party vst.
Additionally make sure that you've checked the option "Multiple Plug-In Windows" in Preferences->Look/Feel to On, so that you can monitor multiple spectrum analyzer instances at the same time.

| There's a display option with spectrum when you right click on its bar if I remember correctly, or is it rather a triangle? Well, you check the option so it puts itself into the middle part of the screen but it takes a lot of space. No floating native devices with live. |

yup, but you can simply double click inside the analyzer and it will expand to the middle. you can make it almost the entire project in size |

| Yeah, but as soon as you select another channel you'll lose the floating window holding the spectrum analyser, so its not that helpful since I think you want to tweak other channels while looking at the master balance? |
