, i just need to know does he create his percussion fom scratch ,use samples
or what ,whenever i hear his remixes they remind me so much of jonathan peters always gave you that vibe in the underground clubs when you heardt here stuff you just wanted to dance
in a way it almost sounds like tiesto is kind of using the question and the answer with the percussion
and the synths together , to generate or inject some soul! sometimes you hear some stuff moved forward in time when you would normally hear it other times
he just repeats the hook then plays some percussion stab to mimic the hook (the question and the answer) almost how we used to make techno or some of us still do
youd have 64 step patterns and youd keep interweaving the 64 patters as each was a variation of the main one. If anyone has some insight on how he does his percussion ,post them here.
i know he is mainly a dj but he does put out some stuff of his own.

Shuffle shuffle shuffle and try finding some more unique percussion sounds.
I went a long time using the same 3 percussion packs and could not get anything close to what I was looking for although I know how to program drums fine. I started to sample pro tracks and slice out the specific dark sounds I was looking for. Tiesto uses a lot of tribal type shuffled loops and sometimes it can be hard to find those specific sounds.
Vengeance does not have them, nor does sounds of revolution. I found one pack from VIPZONE that had a lot of the loops I was looking for although I don't remember the name off the top of my head. Just all very unique shuffled tribal types of sounds. And the second pack I wound up finding was just a lucky buy off ebay . It had about 2000 rex loops and rarely any of them had the standard hat/shaker/rim/snare or bitcrushed loops you find in so many places.
I suggest looking around a bit harder and downloading as many sample packs as you can find and inevitably you'll find what you're looking for. Then the other thing would be shuffling the out of them.. because tiesto doesn't do much more than that imo.

he pays pro producers to co-create his tracks and at a guess some type of key tools depending on what daw they are working on to make the percussion and very good arrangement ect ect

hello, that is confused me, i am not clearly about what you say.thanks
Compare the sound of these with his remix of Silence and so on and on.
And yeah we know he has people doing work for him in the studio, who cares really ? (i guess those who are struggling in their litte home studio feeling cheated cause they cant get the same sound, welcome to the music business!)
All in all there is a lot of subtle tricks and techniques learned throughout the last 10 years on various equipment. Tiesto is very secret about his production. What i do know is that they use Nuendo on PC as their main sequencer and a lot of outboard gear.

Loads of compression and swing.
Keep in mind though, Tiesto`s engineers and ghost producers started developing his sound over 10 years ago with these tracks:
Compare the sound of these with his remix of Silence and so on and on and you can pinpoint who was working for him and when.
And yeah we know he has people doing all his work for him in the studio, and making them sign non dislosure agreements so he can spend more time practiing his jesus pose, and get better at taking more credit for other peoples work.

Tiesto makes sure those NDA hold and his engineers can't say a ing word about his productions. What i do know is that they use Nuendo on PC as their main sequencer and a lot of outboard gear.
