Randy Boyer to Host & Headline 3rd Annual ‘Operation Give Life’ Cancer Benefit
On Friday, July 30, 2010, trance music lovers will unite under one roof to party with a purpose as DJs and music lovers from all over the world will join the fight against cancer for one night of extraordinary entertainment. The third annual Operation Give Life (OGL) is a cancer benefit concert hosted by Randy Boyer, who is headlining the event along with a slew of some of New England’s finest homegrown talent. The show will be hosted in West Hartford, CT at Shish Ultra Lounge.

Doors open at Shish at 5pm. (Music DJ's start @ 7pm.) Come early to enjoy half price appetizers, $3 Beers, and $5 Well Drinks from 5-9pm. Coming from far away? Stay the night at the directly adjacent West Hartford Inn for only $65/night – Just mention Shish Lounge when you book the room.
To attend the event, you must donate a minimum of $10 per person at http://OperationGiveLife.org/. You will receive an e-mail confirmation thanking you for your donation to which you will respond with your name(s) to add to the advanced guest list. The minimum donation at the door will be $15, so be sure to donate early!
OGL has raised $4,000 so far and our goal this year is to raise another $2,000! You do not have to attend the show to donate. Everyone from around the world is encouraged to make a donation at our website.
What people should expect is an amazing crowd unified by the driving force of some of the most cutting edge electronic dance music to date. Since purple is the official color of cancer awareness, like every year, everyone is encouraged to dress in black and purple.
Money raised from OGL will go to support the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). The PMC raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA, through an annual bike-a-thon that crosses the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 100% of the money raised through ticket sales and donations from OGL will go to support the PMC and more importantly, The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the leading centers for cancer research, treatment and patient care.
