with your production what would you say is your biggest problem so far?
for me its turning my 8 or 16 bar loops into full arrangements...
i can get a nice groove going with some percussion...a nice bassline..and a melody..just fine..but so far i lack the skills to to turn them into full songs... but i have learned that it will just come with experience and time. |

Too many projects and commitments and not enough time. I manage to work it out somehow, but there is always pressure to get it done on time. |

This, completely this. That and never really getting the grasp on compression. Which is why I generally don't use it. I don't think it's keeping me from doing much and my mixing isn't terrible without it, but I do wish I knew how the hell to use it in my music.
My basslines are pretty average too, wish I could get a hang of those massive driving midbasses that I love so much. |

definitely sound design, i suck at it, my tracks usually consist of tweaked presets, im just rubbish at creating my own sounds |

Word, in fact, two words. |

My problem was that I had too many synths, although I'm sure that some people would disagree. I'm using two at the most right now and I'm better off than ever. |
