Approximately a year ago a friend exposed me to an album named "Script of the bridge" by The Chameleons. I thought it was nice but i didn't take time to listen to the whole thing straight through and take in the full effect. I was thinking about said album a few days ago so i went and picked it up. I was surprised to find it has this ethereal, mesmerizing vibe to it. I'm pretty hooked on it the last few days. Any one else like this type of music?

Nice. Have you checked out Los Planetas? I'd love to go to one of their shows. Alot of what they've done from "Una semana en el motor de un autobus" and onward has some post punk influence to it. Just got their "La leyenda del espacio" album the other day. Good stuff.

True true. Song or two i like by them. Not much though.

It's Joy Division. And The Chameleons own so hard. I love Swamp Thing, Inside Out, Seriocity, Tears (both versions on Strange Times), etc.

Plenty of other good bands as well!
