Such a fun weekend spent there!!! Spent both days at the Queens Ground and these are the dj's that I saw:

Saturday:
Wolfgang Gartner - He was okay, I like his style but just wasn't going bonkers on his track selection.
Fedde Le Grande - Ripped up the Queens Ground. Favourite set of the night!!!
Armin - Sucked with his stop the music and give a ten minute slow intro song and his fifty million Jesus poses coupled with horrible track selection (or was it the new album he was promoting)
A&B - were too soft and melodic to go on after Armin. It was already 130 a.m. they shoulda banged it out :( I love them, but we were ready to party, not have a sing-along session with fluff. Give us some banging trance next time.
Eddie Halliwell - Didn't look like Eddie Halliwell so we left as the sound crew were playing dubstep waiting for his look-alike to pretend to spin a set or so we believe. Hope someone can confirm this as it looked like a Hispanic guy up there spinning. As we were leaving he was playing the that newer remix of Delerium - Silence that all the jocks were spinning

Sunday
DJ Sneak - meh...
Joachim Garraud - WOW, dude was mental, playing a kordless keybord, throwing alien masks from the elevated stage, hyping up the crowd every other song on the mic, taking pics of us going bonkers, played Sandstorm and Zombie Nation among other classics, climbing on top of the booth to jam out on the keyboard some more...
Cosmic Gate - brought the noize
ATB - the MILLIONTH time he starts his set with Ecstasy(I called it a half hour before he went on as he ALWAYS begins with that track in Texas...)
Laidback Luke - nothing like his Essential Mix... Some good tracks but others were just meh, a lot of mashups with the vocals out of key from the track. Then he messed up my night, by playing a dubstep song as the encore of La Roux - In For The Kill. BUZZKILL, I HATE DUBSTEP :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:

All in all, this is what a massive should be about!!!

Pros:
Easy access to the facilities with mimimal to no wait.
Great stage productions/visuals with no sound bleed from one arena to the other unless the track was completely cut out. Then you could faintly hear the bulle that was being played at the Ultra-esque stage a.k.a the Labyrinth while at the Queens Ground.
Easy access in on Saturday as they werent doing pat-downs but that changed on Sunday with a 10 minute wait to have a pat-down @ 09:00. $4 bottles of water was decent considering the normal cost in a club and the fact that there was a free water station that was staffed to fill you water bottles or you could purchase a $15 aluminum Insomniac branded container and keep refilling that.
Entertainment was spot on as the go-go dancers were beautiful, the carnies were a trip, and the 3D light tunnel was like walking through heaven :eyes:

Cons:
Parking situation - took me an hour to locate my car the first night as we stayed til 4am. The lot wasnt lit and it became difficult to find you car in a sea of dark machines.
Levelness of the dancefloor was rough due to the construction of the stage at Queens Ground which lead to many a moment of losing my balance while dancing as I would hit a tire rut.

I am ready for next years festival and hope they beef up the lineup since we proved that we would come out in full force to celebrate the music under the stars with our chosen family.

Eddie Halliwell was supposed to be on from 3-4AM, but got on 45 minutes late (they played some crappy dubstep before he got on). Then he had "technical difficulties" throughout his whole 15 minutes set and then he called it a night. wtf dude!?

I was really looking forward to seeing him play live... but what a let down. Anyone know wtf happened?

Yea, I ing HATE dubstep. Its "hip-hop for ravers" and I can't wait till the genre falls off the map.
