Hey guys. I'm trying to find a way to connect my Vestax PCV 275 to both my amp and my laptop(for recording). One option is the UCA-202. I was HOPING to find something similar to the cable below. Anyone know where I can get these? I can only see them online, but not in any stores.
Note: The pcv275 has two master outs: one with regular left/right RCAs (which are currently going to my amp, and one with left/right 1/4' monos (which i need to go to my laptop).
Thanks!

| If you can find them online, why not just buy one? They can't cost more than a dollar, surely? |

Hey thanks for the reply. Everywhere I've looked online they are about $5-$10, and then shipping is another $10-$15. Which defeats the purpose of me trying to save money by not getting the UCA-202. |

| Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll check out L&M. Already asked The Source and they said they've never even seen it before hahaha. |

| Do you have a Guitar Center or a Sam Ash near you? Or something similar? That's a pretty common adapter. That's interesting that the source said they've never seen this type of adapter before. |

| If you can't get one locally then just eBay it, obviously this cable is in pounds but £2.69 is dirt cheap. |

| Unless the input on your laptop is a line in then don't bother with getting the cable. It'll more than likely be a mic input and sound terrible when you feed it with a line level signal - I'd stump up the £20 for the UCA-202 if I were you. |

If you have one of these laying around use it:
with this:
cheaper and easier to find in most cases |

I picked up a couple of RCA -> 1/4" adapters for my xone awhile ago. They only cost 4$ for a pair and i havent noticed any feedback or signal loss through them.
I got mine at 'Gear Music' on Kerr st in Oakville btw. |

I had a look at the pcv-275 manual, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that the 1/4" outputs are mono. Why not just get a 1/4" to whatever input your amp takes, and an rca to 1/8" cable for your laptop?
And most laptop mic inputs double as a line in - I record using Soundforge, going from the rec out on my mixer to the 1/8" in on my laptop and have never had a problem with sound quality. Now, with an A&H mixer (which I have), the rec out isn't affected by the master volume - in your case, just use recording software with display meters and keep an eye on the master level from your mixer. |
