Bit of an oldie, but a goodie. I'm currently listening to Hybrid's "Soundsystem 01" album from 2008.
Really nice selection of downtempo / breaks choonage.
My personal favourite track is this: |

I have to admit that I only like a few tracks from their new album.
When they get it right however, they really hit the spot for me. |

| They had an amazing release on a now inactive label named Domina Productions. Track named Kollector. Used it on a mix i did a while back. Best thing i've heard by them. |

I wouldn't say 2008 is an "oldie". This compilation sums up everything good and bad about Hybrid for me. The first disc is overwrought, pretentious and dull for the most part. The second disc is a very enjoyable dancefloor set.
Basically, I have very mixed feelings about Hybrid. |

Yeah, I have to say they're a bit hit and miss.
I don't like those gay male vocal tracks for example.
I'm not a massive fan of vocals generally. Gimme the spaced out pads, grooves and beats. |
