Van Rental?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for a place to rent a van for Civic Holiday weekend that's not outrageously priced. Every place I've looked for charges $100-130/day for a mini-van and like $30/day for a small car. The price of a real van isn't that much more than a regular sedan. If anyone know where I can rent a mini-van for a decent price please let me know.
I've checked Enterprise, Hertz, Expedia, CarRentals, and Hotwire already. Perhaps someone knows a small shop that has a van or something. |

| Budget's usually pretty reasonably priced and there are coupons online (check rentalcarmomma.com or redflagdeals) that will provide you with a bit of a discount, but you're going to have a hard time finding anything reasonable (much less an available vehicle) for the long weekend less than two weeks out. |

that's a negative - Budget has one of the highest rates on car rentals (esp. vans) - I never went with them when I booked vans for my manager
Enterprize was fairly decent and good rates too. |

| How long ago was that? Admittedly, I can't claim to have rented a van from them, but in the past two years I've booked vehicles with them, their rates have always been the most competitive. |

I'd say 2-3 years ago - the guys went to conferences a few times a year and needed 2 vans every time for all the gear and booth parts
I always got the highest quotes through Budget rental (and well in advance too) |
