To be fair, there's a wee but more than that going on in comparison to WL6.....but that's only talking about Wavelab for PC.

As the thread title denotes this is about WL for mac, which IMO, is the single biggest audio software news for OSX in years, as all the other audio editors in history for mac have seriously lacked ( andI've tried them all).

The only use of this wavelab for me would be creating bassdrums from cutting and copying waveforms

For me, it's recording DJ sets. I may even do raw vox (not overdubs) straight in to it.

I have been but I so much prefer the waveform display in wavelab, not to mention all the other functions (instant drop of track markers, sample display resolution, editing fucntions etc.).

I can do about 90% of what i need to in logic but in that 10% some functions are sorely missed and I just prefer the interface of wavelab when really getting down in to heavy audio editing.

yeah i kinda agree. i used wavelab myself (le or something) when recording my djeing back in the day. there where definitly good stuff in there. also i remember making my first PC track in wavelab by exporting loops from rebirth and glue them together in wavelab lol. or wait that might have been steinberg cubasis when i think about it? damn i dont even remember anymore.

so anyone get this ? I've been using bias peak but I'm wondering if anyone has been using wavelab for osx yet ?
