You like Frontline Assembly also? They have a side project called Doubting Thomas. But they gave all that up to work on their best side project from 3rd mind records .... Delerium whos origins started out as a dark wave landscape style of music.

Now they went mainstream with Delerium and I don't look back much.

You can also put Bill Leeb in with Skinny Puppy. Rhys Fulber does Conjure One too. And they both are Synesthaesia. So they both have gone on from the FLA days to do a lot more.

I don't like FLA or Delerium too much... I dunno, seems a bit too basic, kind of a step back in a lot of ways, lacking a lot of expected direction and depth.

Doubting Thomas is an entirely different story, though - then again I am a hug Skinny Puppy whore so naturally something with cEv and Dwayne (it's not a FLA side project) is going to appeal to me. Father Don't cry is an amazing song, so is Theme From Pressurehead. It seems so hard to put these guys into some chronological context ebcause their work has, at least to me, not been surpassed really - like Dwayne died, cEv still drops amazing beats, and nobody new has really stepped up to the plate since. :conf:

Conjure one,I did know that but it slipped my mind or I would have posted it. Didn't know about Synesthaesia though.

Even the really old Delerium. How about FLA other side project called 'Will' ?

They had/have a TON of projects that they are a part of.

I believe it, I just have not kept up with much that is new in the EDM world in a long time. I find myself going back to Ambient roots and Industrial roots with a dash of Morrissey, who I consider a great lyricist.

Danny Ocean
Roger Waters - Amused to Death or Pro's and Cons of Hitch Hiking

Pink Floyd - Is The Anybody Out There (Live doing the Wall in the 80s)

I don't keep up with EDM anymore either. In my car I currently have the first album I posted and right now am listening to The Cranberries. Need to burn the Tool stuff I have too. I may wait on that though. The phone I am getting in a short 3 weeks plays FLAC and has lots of memory.
