Traditionally, somebody also comes along to make astute observations of said behaviour in an attempt to pigeonhole the banality of the target user's posts, inadvertently exemplifying themselves as the very same sort of forum jockey they are seeking to criticize.
Show a little respect for the dead and stay silent, why don't you? |

Quintessentially, it can be said, other people will observe that said posters have engaged in dark humor in the form of self-reference paradoxes at effort to allay the tension over social boundary transgression and be drawn into participating thus, where-as they had initially refrained from joking directly about the issue, this participation allows them to relieve their own inner-tension through a transference onto ideas which are altogether less traumatic and dissociated from events precipitating the thread to which participation is now joined.
Furthermore, this participation also allows said poster to engage in the context of the thread without treading on the feelings of those who are, perhaps, a little too emotionally invested in the tragic circumstances. Of course, some will come along and point out that the apparent neutrality is nothing more than a perverse charade aimed at maintaining a poorly engineered social standing that, if said poster had any balls, he probably would have simply posted, "I was going to go but I heard it was packed" and would therefore enjoy less of a social stigma.
All told, following the former posters advice would have resulted in the best outcome. |
