finally got round to listening to this properly and dare i say it was a bit all over the place but hey its an experimental mix! :D
nice to hear some of toby emersons other stuff, didnt know the guy made jurassic park music LMAO
some really nice tracks in here but the flow is so staggered to actually appreciate the true awesomeness of fruitynoobs!! mixing wise its not bad but sort the flow out man. its like eating sheperds pie out of a shoe and washing it down with a flaming sambuca (not that i've actually done this but i can imagine...right??)

now for the second half, this is tefo sifon part deux. \o/
im looking at the artwork for this mix and it is completely unrelated to what i am hearing haha...vegetables being hospitalised...:crazy:
the cynic project is sooo 2000...mp3.com haha they were good though!
the trance half is absolutely epic. it was difficult to get into the first half because it was so jumbled up, kind of like watching a korean film without the .srt file :stongue:
don't be disencouraged brother, i look forward to hearing the next mix you mash out!

and from here on out I finish the fairytale with them.
Some of the tracks in the beginning were decent for amateur productions. After 37 minutes though you lost me in a sea of saccharine amateurstomp.
The mixing was alright for what it was I s'pose. And I must recognize you using random tracks like that, separate from the fact that I didn't like most of them :p |

Yeah this set pretty much involved me digging through my harddrive to find old school tracks that I downloaded way back when. There weren't enough tracks to make a full set out of either of the two halves, so I just made it all into one. Maybe that wasn't the best idea. :stongue:

Totally last minute. I was wondering how in the hell I was going to go from fun and happy DNB (Mirage) to slower and relaxing trancey trance. So I threw that in there. Makes me laugh every time :p

The mastering in the first half was definitely better than the second half (with the exception of Aquanox, perhaps). I wish I had tastes that were as eclectic as yours so that you would like my sets a little more :p |
