During Comic Con, Capcom has officially announced Street Fighter x Tekken, Its a tag team based fighting game running on the Street Fighter 4 engine. On top of that Namco will also be working on there version of the fighting game called Tekken vs Street Fighter which will run on the Tekken 6 engine. Source

The fact that they are making a Street Fighter vs. Tekken game is one thing...the fact that they are making TWO versions, one by Namco, the other by Capcom is whats crazy...and in a good way. Though I'm curious as to how a Street Fighter character will control via Tekken-esque controls. Also, Tekken features very few projectiles from what I can remember, whereas Street Fighter, almost every character has one. Wonder what that will do to the balance of the game.
