Markus Schulz Autographed WMC 2010 Print - Proceeds to Benefit Cancer Fundraiser Event, Operation Give Life

Operation Give Life (OGL) is a yearly electronic dance music event & fundraiser that was started by Randy Boyer in 2008. OGL is a nonprofit organization whose primary focus is to raise money to help find a cure for cancer. Every day over 1,500 people in the United States lose their battle against cancer. The goal of OGL is for DJs and music lovers from all over the world to join the worldwide fight against cancer for one night of extraordinary entertainment.
Markus Schulz was invited to become a part of the third annual OGL 2010 by autographing a 20" by 30" photograph which will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. The photograph is very unique as it was taken at the 2010 Winter Music Conference in Miami by Las Vegas Nightlife Photographer, Mikey McNulty. The photograph truly captures the excitement of WMC, and is featured as the banner on Markus Schulz's very own website, http://www.markusschulz.com/. Funds raised from OGL will go to support the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). The PMC raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA, through an annual bike-a-thon that crosses the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 100% of the money raised through ticket sales and donations from OGL will go to support the PMC and more importantly, The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the leading centers for cancer research, treatment and patient care. yeah markus is great. every time i've seen him this year he comes off as such a humble, nice guy. always comes down after- shakes hands, gives autographs, takes pictures, answers questions. he's awesome.
most recent time i saw him my friend and i were telling him how much we loved his set and he was almost shy "thanks for comin' out again. yeah you know i'm glad i got to play for so long (4.5 hours) really couldn't get it going at all for the first 2 hours then i just started playing an afterhours set and felt a lot better about it. i'm glad you enjoyed tho"
out of everybody i've seen this year markus deserves that number 1 spot in the poll haha. armin doesn't really do it for me in the same way. i feel like armin will certainly get number 1 again...but markus deserves it. |
