I just watched the WBS.TV documentary earlier which was good timing since I had initially learned about this event only a week or two before. Long story short, it looks like a really crazy, washed up party, where pretty much anything goes.
I was just wondering if anybody here has ever been there - and can share some of their impressions. Or, alternatively, is anybody is planning to go, what are your expectations?
This year's event starts in only a few days, actually, so obviously it's too late for me to make it. Definitely something I'd like to consider next year or the year after though.
Here's the documentary: http://vbs.tv/en-ca/watch/music-wor...n-the-black-sea
Also, while it is always (or usually) held in the Crimean Peninsula in the Ukraine, the exact location tends to vary. So while I posted some pics below, it isn't necessarily the way future events will look:
p.s. the video is worth watching for the women alone - so if you have a and a pair of balls on you I highly recommend it! |

I'd assume that Russian is enough since many of the people who go are from Russia and they don't speak Ukrainian. |
