| Born and raised in Quebec. Don't ever ensue that I am american. Unless you are speaking geographically. In that case specify north from south as it is quite rude to put me in the same category as lets say someone from Honduras. And i'm a first generation american so it doesn't really count. there is a 1 generation leeway concerning nationality. Technically i'm from Ireland and Spain. |

this is actually a pretty cool concept. i've hired session guitarists, bass players & a sax guy recently for a few records but i'm at the mercy of craigslist & referrals. the broad idea of this is pretty cool though the application of it just being ableton & midi ideas seems a bit narrow. hopefully this expands into a variety of offerings!
i could offer up my harmonica skills, maybe someone could offer up the skin flute! |

That's kind of unfair, considering that from what I've gathered about you, you don't like using melodies, pads or pretty much anything complicated in your tracks other than loops and samples. I can't even imagine what your music sounds like. |

| most of my posts isnt very serious. all my music is out there for free if u just search a little (if u wonder what it sounds like anyways). :gsmile: |

of all the producers in here , i enjoy 19503's the best. I find everyone else sounds so damn adult contemporary and generic. He does use melodies and I think he says things for shock value. His mixing could use a little work but honesty, I've heard such awful mixes from pros on beatport that I don't even know what the standard is anymore. I'm not saying he is great but It is listenable and I could see someone buying it. I rarely see that in anything posted here. I think if he spent a year really honing his skills spending 8 hours a day, he could do something great. He does take the time to make sure every track has a different sound and he shows that he is purposefully not trying to be redundant. Right now it is a little rough around the edges. But some people, there is absolutely no hope. No amount of work will help.
That doesn't change the fact that he is from Norway. |

| Little curious regarding how you came to have all this gear and now you have virtually nothing. Did you sell it all for smack ? |

| what do u mean have all this gear? i practically dont have anything anymore, and the things i do have is just collecting dust except my MBP and Logic. but i plan to do something about that, i throwed away the dinning-table yesterday, and are now looking for producing desk to put my current gear up on. or are u talking about all the gear i had before? like three-five years ago? i sold all that it was useless to me and didnt fit into my now small home. ive had a few rants about that around here. i am now a minimalist after the hardware OD i had. i have everything i need except i need better monitors. |

| you once mentioned all the synths you used to have including from what I remember a virus, nordlead among others. Perhaps I have you confused with someone else. Just a little weird to have all this stuff and now only have a laptop without a table or monitors. |
