After seeing Danny Tenaglia spin for 7+ hours last friday, my vote is going to him. We had the privlege of having him spin 2 nights in a row in Montreal, and on saturday his marathon set started at midnight and ended at 3pm sunday afternoon.
He jumped from genre to genre, style to style untraditionally, yet it flowed incredibly. He played everything from pounding techno, to tribal, to classic 90s house, to dark prog, to deep lush house, all throughout the night. INCREDIBLE! |

I wasn't trying to show how cool I was. I was trying to show you how cool you are. I have neither need nor desire to demonstrate my coolness or to exploit such a virtue at effort to increase my social status. Perhaps that is something which you desire more than myself. Regardless, if you want to discuss what it will take to move from having champagne tastes on a beer budget, perhaps we could discuss your dubious willingness to settle for the immediate gratification offered by Milwaukee's Best. Because once you settle for less than what you wanted, you immediately get less than what you settled for - someone wiser and cooler than me, said that.
Speaking of settling, thank you for letting everyone know that a pointless and, dare I say, detrimental popularity contest is underway. I'm looking forward to throwing my vote away promptly after authoring this post. Even if my hero, Armin Van Buuren does win, which looks doubtful, I can be certain that the lowest common denominator has been properly averaged with the acceptable level of mediocrity to offer a quantifiable metric between who is most popular and whatever yardstick now passes for measuring actual talent. |

I have one. I'm uncertain as to how it's still implied, in this day and age, that posting on an internet forum implies that one has no life outside of it? It is because I've demonstrated an ability to put some thinking into my posts? Maybe it's the mere fact that I capitalize the first letter of my sentences? If anything, I'd think these features of my posts actually demonstrate that the quality of my life is probably better than someone who insistently berates people and doesn't use proper grammar in most of his sentences.
Perhaps you're talking about my sex life, as evidenced by the rather vulgar adjective preceding the word, life. Well, that's none of your business but I will say I am quite satisfied in that regard. Thank you for your concern. |
