Cool suspenseful atmosphere you got going here! Reminded me of CJ Bolland - The Prophet. Was kinda wondering what was going on up til 1:10 but after that the groove is really infectious. Not a huge techno aficionado but to my ears the offbeat hat sounds way too harsh and the kick is a little too far back in the mix. Not sure on the crowd FX either, at first I thought this was a live rip of something rather than your own track and you don't want that!
Will you deliver said pie to Australia? My preference is apple pie, a la mode. :D |

Ha i knew someone would buy it! But thanx for the compliments and tips! guess i gonna get rid of the crowd, although still hoping that the song will somehow get played for a real (and dancing) audience :D

Yeah - let the dancefloor do their own cheering as they see fit!
Ambient noise/texture works well in this sort of spooky tune but go for something less cliched - Some sort of scuttling sound or something other-worldly to go with that Roswell voice grab. You could even probably use the crowd sounds but filter and mess with it so it's less recognisable.
Edit: Pie will arrive crunchy AND a la mode or I'm taking all my commentary back :p |
