Help: Traktor problem or laptop?

I am trying to use my Dell laptop to run traktor pro, but after about 15-20 minutes I get a sudden stop/lag in the music for less then a quarter of a second then it continues playing (repeats the lag again in another 15/20mins). The laptop had vista so I upgraded to win7 and that didn't fix it.
The specs of the laptop (going by memory)
2.4ghz
2mb ram
160gb (80% Free)
win7 ultimate
I used this laptop for school for about a year and that is it.
The issue seems to be with the laptop, but anyone know if there is a setting in traktor that could be adjusted or had similar problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated |
