| I find it interesting that there's no events listed in the events thread for Guv on Sunday, especially considering it's a long weekend. Am I missing something? I thought for sure that would have planned a big show! :conf: |

Lol yeah...
I don't mind going downtown when this weekend hits, I just choose not to go to any clubs that play that kind of music. Not my thing.
However, I've been to one or two back in the day and they were fun. |

walking downtown during caribana is scary... I would not feel safe walking alone.
Walking down yonge street = being whistled at, hollered at, being approached often in rude ways by hundreds of guys who have come down from caribana. I am far from racist but I hate what caribana does to our city, so many cops everywhere - theres more tension in the air during this weekend than G20... except I felt safer during g20.
This has nothing to do with race, but year after year I've dealt with the same . |

this is the weekend that no matter what I wear, I still get whistled down at and yelled at and god knows what else, no matter how crappy I look
