Andrew Dahabrah from the US produces under the alias ConsolerCtrl, and it's a pleasure for Silk Sofa to present his new release, entitled "Soft". The first of the three cuts in this package is "Summer". Unique pads and bell melodies are used from the onset, and a well-crafted beat soon follows. Various glitches and effects emerge as the song progresses, and the sweet main melody adds even more harmony. Up next is "Consoled Controlled"; a breakbeat gently introduces the track while sweeping and hypnotizing pad layers evolve underneath. Also, a wealth of effects create unique textures that go extremely well with all the melodies and harmonies. Finally, "Dream" kicks off with smooth pads and floating sound effects. Soon thereafter, a glitchy and clever breakbeat is added, as well as a rather pretty main melody. As the track develops, even more delightful melodies enhance the aural experience.
