Camel Audio just announced that they will be offering their Planet Earth Expansion for Alchemy at whatever price you're willing to pay for the month of August! At least 50% of the proceeds will go to Friends of the Earth. KVR announcement:

BTW, if you don't already have Alchemy, I highly recommend it - it's an incredible and very unique synth from a company with some of the best customer support around IMO. But, if you don't have it, you can download the Alchemy Player for free and use it with Planet Earth and any of the other Alchemy expansions. |

Just got it.
Awesome.
I like Camels open policy of telling you the average and highest payments and an average so you know roughly where to pitch! |

| can't these sounds be made with analogue instruments? why do we have to pay them if we can make our own. Are they insulting us by saying we're newbs and can't program synths? |

Alchemy has pretty good virtual analog capabilities, but its strength is in its additive, granular, and spectral synthesis and sample mangling capabilities, which are pretty much exclusive to the digital domain. |
