How does spam even work on forums?
Are those bot accounts or are people's accounts taken over? |

You can set up programs to deal with the "real person" tests.
Unless Swamper and the other Mods wanted to personally e-mail every single new account, it would be very hard to stop every bot in the system.

| Anyone else notice tons of spam from people with Hotmail addresses? Looks like lots of accounts got hacked and they're being used to sell health pills. |

Ye I've gotten those before. ing Viagra. Maybe I'd be a little more interested in opening them once I hit 60 (hopefully later than that). They try to trick you into opening their e-mails by using normal subject titles. The best thing to do is to mark them as phishing scam. |
