Hey thanks for the positive comments!
I was thinking this might be a good bed track for some sexy female vocal on top. What u think? |

Not really. The track definitely lacks a clear hook. It's got a great bassline and pads and even percussion, but it doesn't have that sound that I could hear being pulled into a remix of any style. All in all, it shorthand, it lacks a hook.
When I hit the 3 minute mark I expected to hear a really new melodic instrument, but I got more of the same, which is why I can't hear the track being pushed for a label.
Otherwise, the track is stop on and well mixed. I just really want that groove or hook and then man... what a track. That's when I would try and gobble this up into one of the two labels I A&R for. lol |

I'm not really into big melodic synth hooks, that's why I thought a vocal hook would be a good future addition. Finding the right voice and parts for the vocal will take some work though. But I guess technically speaking the lead blip sound is a hook.
Hey darthseph, which labels are you A&R for? |

Yea vocals will take forever to to get the way you want them. At least, 95% of the time that seems to be what happens. I have a hard time figuring out what kinda of vocals you'd be going for from the track, but obviously you've given it thought.
Even something as simple as a mellow piano would work I think. Just to give it an ambiance for one to vibe to. The atmospheric pad works well, I just hear it and lots of percussion myself. As an example I'll cite your "The Cost Of Freedom" demo. It sounds much more complete in its soundscape.
TO answer your question... solarSwarm Records and 'smü[th] Music. |

Beat kinda sounds like old aphex to me. I like.
Also chiming in and saying that a melody hook would be nice...or at least something to hold attention past around 1/2 way.
The soft synth that comes in at the end is ok...but I felt like there was something missing. Dunno really.
Overall the mix was nice in my cans, very mellow. Gl with the track. |

| well I love as a chill-out-track so.... but a vocal would be great on it. But the lyrics has to be well choosen |

| smooth, great mixdown like always. if you ask me man, that bleep sounds more like a percussive element than hooky. a suggestion from me is to add a stab! |

| Haha yea writing a vocal part is like writing a whole new song. I know someone with the right voice, good start, but not sure if I can pull that off nicely. |
