Sudbury has some rocking lakes, I lived up in Hanmer for 5 months. We definately explored the area.


My favorite lake is Deer Lake between Verner and Warren on Hwy 17.

No public launch but you can launch and park at either cottage resort for $5-10.

You guys are very hardcore, nuff respects. I'm like the sunday tourist fishing noobs compare to you guys.

I was thinking of going to Lost Lake Resort this summer. Rent a cottage for at least 4 or 5 days. Went there as a kid....great northern pike, walleye and small mouth bass fishing.

Its near Elk Lake...about 6 hours north of Toronto.
