My 1210's are made in Japan and have the switch.
The switch is under the actual PLATTER. So you have to lift it up and check.
But don't stress if you switch it to 110 it will be fine.

if your serial number is the [M] and [MC] serial number series that's : USA and Canada ... 120 V

so not switchable ...
the other series are "international" so they are switchable

so you might not have the switch .....

I may be wrong but I believe they are all made in japan...

it's the country they are destined to that makes them switchable or not .... usa and canada being counted out

sorry but I'm kinda pissed I must admit ... :nervous:

you need a currency converter or plug adaptor?

and tell me what's the series of mk2s you got? usa? canadian ? japan?
and did you read the manual!? check the serial number and tell me what country code they are

and lastly where did you buy them ? something like japan to get a good deal ? if so tell me price and url please :)

well I sure hope you get started on these soon or their gonna get dusty!

have fun!

ps. resize with any image touchup software ....

ha...sorry man..i know i am kind of annoying...
just that its my first equips...so i just afraid that i would harm them. and i think i need a currency converter, but no worry.i already order them..:)

and the one i got is mk4...shipped from japan.
and the price is pretty cheap compare with my local store in vancouver.
the one i got is 750 Cdn. and mk3 in japan is around 400~450 Cdn dollars. and i got my mixer djm600 for 1000 cdn. sounds a good deal huh?

but sorry.i didnt order it online. its becuz 1 of my sis's friend live in japan.so i ask her friend to get it for me.

That deck is a sl1210 Mk2 ... sure looks like it

the mixer : Pioneer Djm 600 .. it's an ok entry level mixer .... a least the faders wont die on him .... but personnaly I hate it ... I want quad eqs + parametrics ...
but none the less that is a good mixer yupe yupe

hahahaha
well parametric is pan/balance= left/right

it's funny cause vestax released a mixer ( scratch mixer actually ) that is Quadraphonic! so that's : left/front right/ front left/ back right / back
image scratching with a dope mixer like that ... it would be totally cool :)

My location ... good question ! first time ever asked!

I used to live in la rochelle France

I moved to akron ohio in august

actually I may be going to Chicago a couple months

and my next location will be lausanne switzerland and once I get there I will only have : lausanne switzerland marked... That's really were I feel at home

I'm completely lost right now , my life is so confusing .... gotta get back to europe

were you at in greece? I went there a couple times. ... love the country ... but Athens ... TO MUCH POLLUTION! :wtf:
teatea
the deck is not mk2 ,its mk 4 :disbelief

here, i took another pic.
