why waste time on mastering, when the mix is not done?
It would be much easier to give usable feedback when the tracks are not squashed to death. |

I smell rage.
Surely you can rip apart a bad master? Or comment on a good master?
*gasp* |

Shure, if i have a track, that has a good master i can tell
a lot.
But my mission is to have a good mix, because sparing out mastering my self leves much time to me for work on my mixing scills.
Usually folks who are able to produce propper tracks are a minority
in forums for feedback search on prduction.
And isnīt it so that a perfect mix does not need a mastering?
When I try to make a good mix and want to have some feedback on mixing
->Spareout the mastering
a specialy the use of compression in the mix will be hard to guess
if a summcompressor is added.
isnīt it? |
