So I'm moving out of my place soon and one of the guys moving in is interested in buying some of my stuff. I'm familiar with him we're not good friends though so I'm not exactly trying to give him anything free.
Anyway I'm gonna sell a mattress, bed frame, book case, bed side table, and mini-fridge. All of that together, minus the book case, cost me a bit shy of 900 dollars. The book case was lent to me by a friends dad- who told me not to worry about getting it back to him anytime soon. He doesn't mind it staying with the house. Book case probably wouldn't cost more than 60 bucks though.
So..... c0r....how much do I ask for?
Factors:
.more $ is better
.reasonable is important
.i really want him to just agree to it so i don't have to worry about finding another way to get rid of it / sell it online
.it's almost certainly his parents that will be paying
.his mom is smoking hot. i guess that's not really a factor. but still. |

| 400-500 bucks. You're crazy if you think you'll get more for used stuff. If they wanted to pay what you paid, they'd just buy their own new , wouldn't they? |

yah that was my thought as well. i guess i'll ask him for 500. i'll be willing to negotiate a bit tho.
for the frame and bedside table - they're in perfect shape.
but yeah i know what you mean about used . 500 would be nice |

| I usually sell used items half off, or priced to move because I'd rather be done with it and get on with my life. IE my time is more important than objects. |

| well...the book case that's not mine - it's staying with the house anyway. the guy doesn't want to bother retrieving it now - his son moved out of here already and when they did he was just like 'eh it. they'll probably want it.' so i didn't necessarily quote him on the book case for a price - i just tossed it in there to sweeten the pot lol. but yeah it's ok. i asked 475 hopin he'll get back to me about that soon. |
