Chick-fil-A Comes to Los Angeles: First 100 Get Free Chicken for a Year
Aziz Ansari's favorite chicken franchise is coming right to the heart of Los Angeles. On Thursday, August 12th, Chick-fil-A will be opening a new location on Figueroa Street, right next to USC. To help stir up interest, the first 100 adults that are standing in line when the doors open 6 a.m. will receive free Chick-fil-A for an entire year.
The "First 100" promotion is not unique to this location, and has been implemented chain-wide for the past seven years. However, due to the limited amount of available space, and the popularity for these promotions, no one will be allowed to line up until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11th. This will be the company's 1,500th location.

hehehe - i saw that when walking to EDC..... i was like yes!
there actually are like 10+ chic-fil-a's around the greater LA area... Redondo has had 2 for many years now in 2 malls.... but none have been close to central LA... |

| PS - McDonald's has reverse-engineered their chicken sandwich so well i doubt you can tell them apart if you have your eyes closed! |

| you mean compare the new chicken sandwich at mcd's to chick fil a and cant compare? no way. havent had the new mcd's one but were talking chick fil a here. |

yep - the mcd's southern style chick sandwich is about the same as the chick-fil-a one... and i grew up in the south and have had plenty of chick-fil-a sandwiches in my life so i do speak from personal experience :) |

Regular chicken sandwich Chik fil-a has the best but no spicy chicken comes close to jack in the box |

Dude, I just moved here from Atlanta in May and it's similar, but no dice. Maybe you've forgotten how Chik Fil A tasted. :P
What kills the McDonald's sandwich more than anything is the bun. It's just not as good. Plus Chik Fil A normally uses a larger cut of chicken.
I've been very thankful for the fact that McDonald's offers the sandwich and sweet tea since I moved here, but Chik Fil A is still way better.
Both times I went down to Shark Club for shows I made sure to stop at Chik Fil A. :-) |
