Tango dance form is full of fun and excitement. Tango originated in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Montevideo, Uruguay. This dance form later became popular in other parts of the globe. When tango was invented it was referred to as tango criollo, which means simple tango. Tango improvised when it travelled to other countries like Finland and America. This is how various styles of tango came into existence such as Argentine tango, Ballroom tango (The American version), Finnish tango and Uruguayan tango. The flamenco tangos share their evolution with the European culture.

Tango showcases a lot of emotions such as love, passion and happiness. The Argentine tango went on to become a rage in most countries. This tango style is also known as modern tango as it is one dance form that retained its place in the dance circuit. There are three ways to dance the tango – close embrace where both the partners are connected at the hip or chest or maybe both and open embrace where there is arm’s length distance between both dancers. The Argentine tango represents partners connected at the chest while the ballroom tango shows closeness at the hip region. Tango is danced to the beats of tango music, which can vary depending on the era and region. In America, tango is danced on the fast beats of tango music.
