^ about 70 percent of that tune i'm working on is mostly nexus2.

Nexus comes with a ton of great ready-to-use sounds, mostly for trance and there are plenty of expansions available, but they aren't cheap ($79/each IIRC for 128 sounds). Despite its reputation, there is enough tweakability built into the synth engine that you can make most patches unrecognizable without a lot of effort, but that's not its strength. So, if you want lots of ready-made presets for trance and have the money to spend, go for it. But, given your synth arsenal, it's not going to add much that you don't already have, particularly when you consider that a pretty substantial proportion of Nexus' factory libary was sampled from your Virus. ;)

Yeah i got the cash, wow the virus u say, my programing skills are somewhat on an apprentice level. All i can pretty much make is good leads and bass but i have no idea how to make those dreamy pads. I still need to check youtube vids on omnisphere and become and elite pad maker. So yeah i'm after more presets so i guess this would be good..even to its expensive and plus it requires a dongle hmph.

Better learn your synths before buying more and more, it won't fix your problems. A virus is amazing for pads btw, so learn how to program it.

I would say Go for It - really cool and easy to work with.

I have pretty much all of the synths you listed, except for a virus. You can easily make better basses in Sylenth than the ones in Nexus, Omnisphere's pads blow anything Nexus has away but I guess if you want simpler stuff it'd be less CPU intensive to use Nexus. Its leads are all kind of generic but they're definitely usable, you might benefit from them even though Predator and your virus should have you covered there.

I think the most beneficial thing you'll get from Nexus are its piano samples, it really has some amazing sounds that I think trumps even some of Omnisphere's library. They're not nearly as complex but in a mix they can sound really amazing.

I would say if you have the money go for it, but you've got a pretty solid arsenal on your hands already. Not that I've ever advocated the "less is more" ideology, you definitely won't be throwing your money away if you get it.

you really think you need more then that? if so go ahead

but i would be fine with the virus and omnisphere for everything..let alone everything else.

Yes, Nexus Piano rocks!

Used it in my latest track.

+1 for the Nexus pianos - there are a surprisingly lot of nice trance pianos in the factory library and in the PS Pianos expansion. I also like the Dance Drums expansion for just firing up some loops when coming up with ideas and the hihat and conga/bongo loops are nice fillers.

For pads, definitely check out the Stratosphere expansion if you decide to get Nexus.

However, all that said, I agree that you'd be better off learning what you have and I think you'll find that between Omnisphere (which contains the entire Atmosphere library) and the Virus, you've probably got more pads than you could ever possibly need. But, I also understand the power of GAS, and doing your part to stimulate the economy isn't necessarily a bad move. ;)
