above and beyond into Digweed...
I can't imagine going from this high energy trance and then John having to transition in to his own Digweed sound?? I am in no means complaining about the diversity of the music in the kool haus that night, I actually like that it done so differently this time around. But if you're going to be taking a risk with the diverse sounds (as we know Toronto doesn't take a lot of risks in this scene); in my opinion you really need to set the artists up right.
Euphoric ---> Driving Trance ---> Gritty Underground Darkness...
A&B - Markus - John is what I am hoping for....John, 4am on... heaven... |

My guess is that Mark Oliver will be doing the warm up up until 12AM as usual. A&B will start their set at 12 and run until 2AM. Then Markus will take over with his set which will most likely go until 5AM. Digweed will then take over until 7AM.
However I do hope that Digweed can't make it on time and Markus goes on til 7! lmao. |

| I have a feeling Markus will close out the night. As much as I'd like to see Digweed close out the KH, I think it makes more sense to have his prog/tech stuff playing to setup for Markus' brand of melodic prog. I would think Markus is bigger than Digweed too. |

lol... I was wondering the same thing! What kind of statement is that?
I guess this is coming from the guy that thinks Sasha hates Toronto and will do anything possible to never come here and come up with every conspiracy in the book to back up his theories... |

Well i'm just basing my opinion on the top 100 DJ poll. Both Sasha and Digweed aren't even in the top 10 like the good old days and high flying trance and house has taken over the top 10. I just think trance is a bigger sound and would attract all the casuals easier then the deep stuff Digweed plays. Of course that poll isn't specific to Toronto, but it still gives a general idea of what's 'big' now these days. That's why I think they'd save Markus for the end cuz apparently he's bigger according to that poll.
Those good old prog DJs have been going down in popularity unfortunately and the Guv is selling out by placing guys like Axwell and this kissy sell out charactor in the main room as you can see. I personally enjoy Digweed more than obviously A and B and Schultz combined but I don't think the MAJORITY feels that way. |

So this discredits everything and everything that I do from now on? I think there's def. something fishy going on with that and if not it's still disrespectful to T.O. fans by bailing twice in a row. |

IMO, the line-up which makes more sense would be:
1. Digweed with his slow jams
2. Above & Beyond with their faster fluff
3. Markus with more banging tunes then A&B
I cant be bothered to see any of them anymore after years of them coming here, as they spark no interest in me. I gave up on Digweed after I saw him at Meow in 2000, cause after that he went downhill for me. A&B is not a good live act for me. Markus may deliver the only decent set for me, and still not interested. These days, I am more interested in newer talent only, which I havent seen yet live. So that I can put a checkmark in my list of djs to see. That is what turns my crank these days. |
