Who's heading over to Amsterdam this October for ADE? The program is better than ever. Let me list some of the parties that are worth mentioning. Not all artists are mentioned (I omitted most of the Dutch artists), just international headliners. And oh yeah, Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk will be there too. My picks are in orange

Can't say I agree there, but ADE has become a sort of tradition for me at this point, and there's always something to do during that weekend. I will be present as always, provided my cousin is in town and I'm not drowning in work.

I guess it sort of depends on what type of genre you like. For me, it was pretty hard choosing the parties I like to attend, because of the vast amount of alternatives. But yeah, those are all deep house, tech house, prog and techno.

Well, . It's already sold out. Can't believe it went so quick. If it wasn't for the lack of internet at home

I was gonna say "You're a girl, show up early and blag it", but then I realized it was on a boat, which most likely is that limited capacitywise for safety reasons. Tough break, but it's probably gonna be absolute sardine city in there by now anyway. Not my idea of a good night out.
My program, provided I make it and that my cousin and her bf (Mason) won't drag me somewhere else, will probably go like this:
Not sure how much of a crowd this will draw, but it's by far one of the most interesting and least conventional things happening that weekend, so have to check it out.
Friday 22nd: Intergalactic FM ADE Special - Alden Tyrell, Aroy Dee, Dexter, I-F, Legowelt, Orgue Electronique, Rude66, Ross154,
Space Dimension Controller and DJ TLR
I've missed the Bunker/Clone-guys every single year I've been to ADE. This year I won't, especially since they've added Space Dimension Controller and booked Newworldaquarium under his gorgeous early 90s techno-moniker Ross154.
Saturday 23rd: Sonic Warfare: Hemlock Night - Untold, Ramadanman, Pangaea, Jackmaster and DJ+
I'm actually tempted to go to Unexist's album launch just to have attended a hardcore/gabber-party for once in my life, but apart from Manu Le Malin and the Unexist PA, the lineup just isn't all that interesting. Plus, I haven't been to Melkweg for over five years, and never with the kind of music the Hemlock-guys play.
Happy days.

Hmm my friend's friend might be able to fix me up with a ticket from one of the guys that play at that party and I'll look out for secondhand tickets as well. I just wanna go because I still haven't seen Sasha & Danny Howells (after he missed his flight to his gig in AMS last year!).
Most of the program is filled with house, techno and minimal and trance just covers the usual Armin van Schulzenyond DJs. Mehhh.

Yeah, the lack of variation is disappointing this year. In 2005 I saw The Delta, Midimiliz and X-Dream(!!!) at an ADE-party, for crying out loud.

Only two nights left and we're off! Took two days off from work, I'm staying with a fried of mine. Party all night, sleep all morning (and part of the afternoon), then probably off to the Red Bull Music Academy Radio place to hang out, and repeat :D
They say ADE is bigger than WMC.. I can't tell because I haven't been to WMC and don't really know what is happening there in daytime, but I'm sure as hell that this ADE is going to be fan-ing-tastic!
