all right, i watched the clip for like 12th time today and i'm crying out in despair: SOMEONE TEACH ME DAT SHIZNIT!!! like that matrix stuff, "i know kung-fu"... i mean, i wanna learn to do it in 2 days...
are there any like tutorials on the web that show you where to place your feet and stuff? there's stuff for breakdancing, so why can't there be something for the Melbourne Shuffle? aarrrrrrrrhaaaaaaaahaggh! |

The Melbourne Shuffles have always astounded me, pressing me to learn the next time I get some really neat flat shoes and Johnson's & Baby Powder.
My friends around me back home in Singapore captured this sort of dancing to Zouk. However, some find it stupid or what-not. I personally love the way people in Melbourne party, dancing should be what music is all about. Visual dancing is what I call the shuffles.
Here in Toronto, away with the raves and huge gatherings, you walk into a club and hardly people dance. If they are, they are either not fully clothed or screaming of the twaty MCs....
Dancing is a compliment of Music. A good shuffle you're able to pull off, there you flow with the soul of the tunes...
Can someone with at least 3-4 years experience of shuffling do up one Writing? The sequencing is what's hard.....
Not too mention, you guys get the best artificial stimulants too! |

he he..just what i was thinking! people always say that north american's don't know how to dance but i know quite a few people that dance similar...but not exactly...kidna freaks me out tho that every one of them is almost identical in dancing tho! |

| You kinda swivel the foot that's on the ground, on the ball or heel. The other foot kinda moves side to side (out then in again), or up and down or even back and forth - to counterbalance the swivelling. The most common hand movement looks somewhat like a librarian trying to sort books on a shelf, while having an epileptic fit. If you wanna learn just watch the video and try to copy it... starting out with socks on a polished floor might be an idea. |
