I just got word from a friend that Ferry will be playing at LIV. Talk about a nice venue! I know it might be pricey, but the thursday night parties aren't that ridiculous, usually like $30. Where they get you are the drinks, but that just means pre-partying more, and enjoying the eye candy!

..just got word???

its been on AM Only for a at least 5 days now

Well the people that promote the party Thursday nights at LIV, NO Sugar Added, just confirmed it. That means that the people outside of TA who don't check out am only website will know about it and hopefully give Ferry a decent crowd. It is a thursday night, but those promoters usually do a good job of bringing out people to their events.

Isn't that place hella expensive? Either way.....I'll finally be 21!!!

its been in the events thread for a week almost.

and dont expect it to be cheap... if kaskade is $60 on a thursday, ferry will probably be $100.
APALO22
Well,

For whatever reason Kaskade really brings out the ladies ( lot of vocal laced commercial productions) which if you are not a TA or techie, and just an average female club goer is right up your alley. He crosses over to the pop side a lot. I got a table for him last year at gryphon for labor day weekend and that place was more packed than A&B and any other trance event that has gone on their. It was impossible to walk around.

By the way David Tort at space couple weeks ago is a perfect example. The female contingents were out in full force for this guy. Not just the tech house heads. His tracks are pretty commercial.

Now back to event pricing. I say $30-$40 because they have charged that for guys like Sharam and Sander K for their thursday night events. Of which I have attended both.

No disrespect to anyone, but I love Ferry Corsten and want to see him succeed again down here, so when I find out that the successful promoters confirm him and start hyping him up, thats when I know its on. Cause I know some of us might not attend because it is to expensive or because we work the next day.

Who wants a totally packed club ,unless your the club $$$$$
APALO22
Its a thursday night, you obviously don't want it to be too packed, but you do want a good crowd size because they usually don't come on till like 1:30 or 2 at LIV on thursday nights.

Also, I know I should have checked the events thread to see if anybody had mentioned it, mi cuelpa.

Anything is possible with Liv. But I've never seen a Corsten party outside of WMC charging more than $25 or $30. If this cost a bit more it would not be completely unreasonable.

Hopefully Corsten will not do a "Tiesto" and will not allow Liv to charge $100 for his fans to come see him in Miami. Otherwise he sadly would be playing to a crowd that would consist mostly of non-Corsten fans who have no idea who he is & are only there cause it's Liv and he's the new big DJ they are bringin ...

APALO22
Amen to Ferry doing a non-Tiesto! Cuz outside of Ultra or going to another city I don't ever see him because I can't justify paying $200.00
for GA at a club and no where near the production value you get out of a tiesto in concert $60.00 ticket.

pretty sure liv sets the prices not the artists.
