It's not the fact we hate Armin for being #1 and popular, we hate him because he's a ty producer now.
I'm sure many artists work this way but how can just everybody assume that he's not doing any of the work? It's his name on the album and he's the one that's playing them right? I just don't understand how most of you just assume that it's Benno that's doing all the work. Maybe Benno should just release the tracks with Rank 1 then since he's doing all the tracks.

Are you new to the scene?
There are some producers who have a staple sound. Some labels who have a certain staple bassline. He may not do ALL but he does most.
Armin prob gets 30 k per gig. I am sure Benno gets more money doing stuff for Armin than Rank 1 lol

I don't think anyone is saying Benno does all the work. If he did, I'm sure he'd want more credit than a little producer/engineer tag on the inside slip of the CD. We're saying Armin can't do by himself anymore, or at least I am. Benno's sound and input is very dominant in all the tracks he helped on. Very dominant.

BTW, if it makes you feel any better. Jochen Miller is also riding the Benno train. Same with Artento Divini.

so what if someone works with an engineer. he gets the credit. we all know who he is. he gets paid. he does his rank 1 thing. whatever
who cares!!! besides, its not like benno is doing this all by himself. armin has earned the right to work with an engineer but have his name on the work.

I actually disagree entirely on taste. I hate the track and LOVE orchestral instrumentals like the few on this cd and previous ones. I think those define armin. The communication, sail, etc. I hate armins vocal tracks - especially with this cd, and think ferry has lost his touch in production. His style of old is demanded and he forced it on his last cd and it just isnt natural. Ruined the cd. And he knows it to. He plays something like 10 classic tracks in a row at the end of his sets. Just my opinion.
