September Stereo Bookings? (pg. 7)

Behrouz is an old Fav. Seen him numerous times and yet to be disappointed. One of my Fav sets was back in 05 When he closed for MAX G. He's the kind of DJ once he catches...He's literally on FIRE...Really amazing on the longer type sets. So when its Behrouz All night Long...You're in for a treat.
The biggest sleeper of the year for me was the Martinez brothers,
on their First Book @ Stereo. Going in didn't have any expectations...left feeling like it was a party I hadn't experienced before. They Tore the place apart. Endless energy, Lotta passion, pumping antics a very versatile track selection. Go for TMB
C & C will always be in Montreal. |

I'd suggest TMB as well, go catch C&C at Black and Blue.
They will play deep and tech, TMB, bit of a change from what you've been hearing a lot of lately. |

Thanks! I will definitely go check them out, but I'm craving Stereo right now hahaha.. I haven't been since DT.
So, I realized who Stereo needs to book. John Digweed, hahaha.. I just listened to his EM from May, man that mix is just so solid. Dark prog and techno but with lots of melody, his programming sequencing, and mixing is just so ing solid. People will say that his last EM was far from the best, but that's just because his style evolved. If I could hear a set like Diggers' EM at Stereo I'd cream my pants. |

The two 1/2 hours were absolutly mind blowing, but I wanted more.... I wasn't through with Digweed yet...
Please I hope its not between the 1st-11th of October....

I would like Stereo to book food :p
Or at least allow you to leave to get something to eat and come back, 8-10 hrs dancing can be draining and you can only get so much energy reserves from disco biscuits. |

Being one of the biggest fans of Digweed, and since I had the chance to hear him in different afterhours many times (including 3 times at Stereo), I can tell you guys he plays his best sets in this kind of environment.
In festivals or big events, he tends to play many 'bigger' tracks (Jacques Lu Cont remixes, for instance), especially to close his sets. In afterhours, he bangs it out and takes us on a journey.
If he does play at Stereo soon, I'm sure it'll be massive! And I would'nt be surprised if Maher was the opening dj... |
