Never been before, so I'm curious if it's worth it to go the VIP route? I believe it's an extra 50 bucks?

Never been to a massive nor had a desire to do so, but I'm ready for some Digweed.
... Advise. <3

i'd say yes if you can afford it.
btw there is already a thread for this event.

*Based on historical performance of similar massives where VIP lines were actually slower than GA, price disparity between GA and VIP was at an all-time high, and the vodka served could be used quite effectively to poison our enemies at war. If you like to wait in line forever, pay through the nose and wake up wishing that you were dead (or if you don't drink), then VIP is most def worth it. **

**Historical performance does not guarantee future results...it could be worse. :nervous:

hmm really, i've always had great luck with VIP and hardly ever waited to get in, in fact last year we got right in while our friends that had general admission waited over an hour and a half to get in. plus the drinks were decent

My VIP experience at EDC 2010 was terrible, for example, although I had better luck in previous years. You don't always get what you pay for, so buyer beware.

I see a lot of people saying this, and some say because Go Ventures sucks. Since I'm new to SoCal, I have no experience on this.

What are the reasons for Go Ventures sucking? Is it anger at Reza for raising ticket prices and always putting himself as a DJ, or is it more than that?

In other words, take the ticket cost out of the equation. Is the stage production, sound, VIP area, etc. all handled well?

I've heard last year's MM was a nightmare to get into, but other than that was it good? If I had to guess, I'd say the fact that this year's is 18+ will take care of some of the crowd volume issues.

Nocyurnal 2010 > anything else in 2010 i think based off just the lineup!!

my vote is strictly on the lineup. nocturnal's line up s on monsters. speakers werent that great at last year's noc compared to last years monster. visuals were better at nocturnal, due to it being ferry's album tour and he had all these lights and visuals setup, also had fireworks at noc. nocturnal wasnt as packed as monster was, but i had more fun at nocturnal cuz ferry/rank1/filo&peri ripped it up compared to armin/sasha/joc. even this years lineup: atb/halliwell/tritonal/schulz/ferry vs. moby/digweed/gtr/judge jules. im really hoping tiesto plays on oct 30th at the la convention center with insomniac so i have something to do on halloween and not go to hard/monster.

just off lineup...edc hadda better trance lineup. atb/eddie halliwell/tritonal/schulz/ferry vs. avb/a&b/sean tyas/simon patterson/gtr/cl/john 00 fleming/aly&fila/second sun..but yeah noc comes in on a close second place.
