As for my opinion, I'm not sure if it's the player or the mastering, but it sounds waaaaaay too compressed. At least it wins this week's loudness war. Nothing really wrong with the music or the sound choice. Not very original but if you're not going for that, it's kind of irrelevant.

Cheers for the feedback.... not sure if you liked it or not however...

Personally, I found the content (to include the original musical framework you built around) of the AvB song fairly typical of his cannon of work and I am not a huge fan of his, by any stretch. Completely divorced from the original content, however, I can't say the job you did, regarding the arrangement or the sound choices, was bad.

The mix is the weakest point of this tune and I thought that there were some sounds that could use a little more EQ cleanliness and a little less delay clutter, in addition to it sounding very over-compressed.

I did like the bass-line, but would love to hear it in a more equalized, less pressurized mix.

constructive feedback there, cheers. I didnt put much compression on it, just a little to raise the vol level a bit. I'll revist the areas you mention and see if I improve.

Thanks again mate
