For those of you who can't make it to Rank 1 this Sat. @ the Circus or for those of you who are from Orange County and don't want to travel far on a Friday night for a good time, Rank 1 will be at the Shark Club on Friday, August 27th. And the night ends at 3am, not 2am like most nights.
Tickets are currently $10 on groovetickets.

It is "Fabulous Fridays" which I recall is the same "Fabulous" that was doing the hip hop room at Circus a few years ago or so.
I'm sure LMD is in the mix somewhere. :) |

| Just found out that its free before 11pm with a valid student i.d. Theres a guestlist on its website fabscene.com but I don't know the details/discount of it. Will update if or when I can find out |

| He played a sweeeeet ass set considering the disappointingly small crowd that he was left with. the promoter def should have put him on 11-1 am for an optimal crowd. i felt really bad for piet near the end when there was literally only about 12 people left in the club lol |

OMG I was thinking the same exact thing. His set was sooo damn good! But by the time he came on at 1:20, a lot of people were getting tired and gradually started leaving. But damn I felt bad too. I mean Piet is use to performing in jammed pack venues but tonight was just a complete travesty. I was seriously waiting for him to say " it, I'm out of here" and let the resident dj finish it off.
I heard though that the promoters booked Rank 1 awhile back when Sharks was having trance night on Friday, but recently they changed Friday nights to a Hip Hop club, and so there was probably conflict with the direction they wanted to promote. Tomorrow at Circus should be a lot better!

| No worries. Piet was fine, even with the small crowd towards the end. And no, he didn't play Airwave lol. Some people begged him to but he said he would play it at Circus if they showed up there :p |
